I have been listening to Beach Music all my life. I'm 50 years old and grew up listening to and seeing the Swinging Medallions, Tams, Bill Deal and the Rhondels, Chairmen of the Board.

I also danced as a teen to a local group called The Melody Makers from Beaufort, SC at a place called 'Oak Groves.' This band is still functioning and playing in the Low Country of South Carolina.

My wife and I go down near Fripp Island and dance to The Melody Makers during the summers. My 23 and 21 year old sons love them also.
